We are part of the Evansville Local Labor Union 561, and we are located at 1515 Park Street, Evansville, IN. This is a 2nd shift role 2pm to 1030 pm Mon-Friday. Compensation Data Compensation and Benefits The pay rate for this position is $24.49 per hour. What You'll Do Position Summary The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, finished goods and packaging throughout the facility. This role supports production and warehouse operations by operating powered industrial trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety, quality and food safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load, unload, move and stage materials throughout the facility. Support production lines with timely delivery of materials. Complete inventory transactions and required documentation accurately. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns. Follow all GMP, food safety, quality and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist with warehouse and production support activities as needed. What You'll Need To Succeed High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous forklift operating experience preferred. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift, move and handle materials as required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
