Position Highlights
- Department: Radiation Therapy
- Hours: 24 hours per week
- Shift: Shift 1 - Days
Position Summary
Perform Simulations and administers Radiation Therapy according to Physician orders using existing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform Simulations and Administer Radiation Therapy according to physician orders using existing policies and procedures.
- Be able to rotate through the 2 different sites at both Middletown & Westbrook, performing simulations and treatment delivery.
- Work with both Elekta & Varian Linear Accelerators & GE Simulators.
- Be flexible working with a varying schedule to include warm ups of Treatment Machines & Simulators.
- Be willing to take the On Call Beeper for weekends.
- Adhere to Radiation Therapy Policies & Procedures
- Be a Team Player, working collaboratively with other staff in the department.
- Provide the safest, highest quality healthcare and the best experience possible.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
- ARRT board certified, currently licensed to practice in the state of Connecticut.
- Demonstrates ability to apply principles of Radiation Therapy Technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR certification preferred; required upon employment.
