The ideal candidate should be experienced in telemetry nursing with strong neuro assessment skills.Unit Description\n This unit is a 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg facility which also accommodates other medical overflow patients.Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years working as a traveling nurse.\n Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.\n AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.\n Responsibilities\n \n Perform neuro assessments and monitor telemetry patients.\n Interpret telemetry strips effectively.\n Care for a diverse patient population, including scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro/surgical patients as well as other medical overflow cases.\n Adhere to clinician-to-patient ratios of 1:4 during day and evening shifts and 1:5 or 1:6 on night shifts.\n Be prepared to float to other applicable units when requested.\n Utilize EPIC for electronic medical record charting.\n Additional Information\n This role may require rotating shifts for day positions, including shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, 11 AM to 11 PM, or 7 PM to 7 AM.
