Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic testing, and crafting tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in conjunction with physicians based on your qualifications
• Providing education to patients and their families on prevention, general wellness, and chronic disease management

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Mexico
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within three months)
