Shop Location Baton Rouge Shift / Schedule Tuesday - Saturday - 7:00am - 3:30pm Salary Paid Weekly Education Requirement Bachelor’s Degree Required Program Overview The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) is an 18‑month structured and comprehensive training program to develop leadership and operational knowledge. The position involves working collaboratively with different teams to gain insights into the business, processes, and strategies to align with customer retention, all facets of operational excellence and metrics. Key Responsibilities Provide quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers. Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction. Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policy and processes are followed to optimize costs. Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure accurate preventive maintenance scheduling, follow‑up, breakdown and vehicle status updates; oversee technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility. Additional Responsibilities Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Required). 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution experience (Preferred). Strong PC knowledge/skills including spreadsheet and word processing software (Advanced, Required). Basic understanding of business finance, controls and metrics (Beginner, Required). Additional day of Paid Time Off (PTO) for Military Veterans. Compensation Information The position is salaried with a fixed annual pay range of $55,000. The role may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on the level and type.
