Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist (New Hampshire & Vermont)

Overview This position is a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist located in New Hampshire and Vermont. The role is field-based and reports to the Regional Sales Manager. The incumbent will provide training, education, and support to patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals on Tandem’s insulin pump products. Responsibilities Conduct continuing education classes and pump training for patients and healthcare professionals. Develop and implement clinical strategies with the Territory Manager to drive product sales and patient retention. Promote Tandem’s market position and differentiate products to clinicians and patients. Provide education on industry trends, web-based solutions, and population health issues. Complete product training, documentation, and timely communication with HCPs. Maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals to support sales and post‑sale support. Handle initial and ongoing recertification of contracted and non‑contracted Tandem Pump Trainers. Collaborate with Technical Support teams to resolve post‑sale issues and training needs. Update CRM records for all business interactions. Establish and maintain a territory call cycle that maximizes sales time. Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred) or equivalent RD, RPh, or related education and experience. Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential (CDCES or BC‑ADM) or eligibility to obtain it. Minimum two years of experience coordinating and delivering education on diabetes technology, preferably via video remote education. Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment and drive improvement. Experience in the diabetes/endocrinology industry is preferred. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to travel at least 80% of the time within the territory. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $101,000–$123,000 annually (grade dependent). Target earnings: $126,025–$148,000 annually. Compensation includes incentive pay, equity, and a robust benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA, flexible savings account, 11 paid holidays, at least 20 days paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
