JBS USA PositionPosition at JBS USAKey ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop frontline production team members to achieve operational goals.Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Communicate performance expectations clearly and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth and development plans.Partner with Human Resources and Safety teams to develop and execute training initiatives.Assist in employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.Production & Operational ExcellenceDirect daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and yield targets.Coordinate labor resources and workflow to maximize productivity and throughput.Monitor department performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.Maintain visual management systems and communicate performance results to leadership.Ensure staffing levels and production schedules align with customer demand and business objectives.Safety, Quality & ComplianceChampion a safety-first culture and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.Conduct accident investigations and implement preventative measures.Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and regulatory requirements.Monitor product quality standards and customer specifications throughout the production process.Maintain organized, clean, and audit-ready production areas.Equipment & Facility ManagementEnsure equipment, machinery, and tools are operating efficiently and safely.Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with maintenance personnel.Monitor workplace conditions and proactively address operational issues before they impact production.Communication & CollaborationPartner closely with Production Management, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Safety, and Human Resources teams.Participate in daily production meetings and communicate operational priorities effectively.Support facility initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, safety performance, and operational results.QualificationsRequired1-3 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing, food production, beef, pork, poultry, or related processing environment.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve operational goals.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience coaching employees and managing performance.Working knowledge of production processes, safety programs, and quality standards.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work a flexible schedule and 50+ hours per week as business needs require.Excellent attendance and safety record.Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.PreferredBilingual English/Spanish skills.Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.Previous experience within USDA-regulated food manufacturing environments.Core CompetenciesLeadership & Employee DevelopmentPerformance ManagementContinuous ImprovementCommunication & CollaborationProblem Solving & Decision MakingResults OrientationAccountabilityTime ManagementTechnical & Operational KnowledgeCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive CompensationBase Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annuallyIncentive OpportunitiesEligible for participation in the Company's quarterly bonus program based on performance and program criteria.Comprehensive Benefits PackageMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (eligible after 60 days)Paid VacationSick LeaveSix Company-Observed Holidays401(k) with Company MatchCareer Growth and Development ProgramsOngoing Leadership Training and Advancement OpportunitiesWorking EnvironmentThis position works within a food production facility where team members may be exposed to:Cold-temperature environmentsLoud noise levelsProduction equipment and machineryWet and slippery surfacesFood processing chemicals and sanitation agentsFast-paced manufacturing operationsAppropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.Why Join JBS USA?At JBS USA, you'll join one of the world's leading food companies and become part of a team committed to operational excellence, employee development, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
