Job Position: Hydraulic Repair Technician

Location: Buford, GA 30518

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Hydraulic Repair Bench Technician and play a critical role in supporting our repair and maintenance operations. In this position, you will diagnose, repair, rebuild, and test hydraulic systems and components in a bench repair environment. Your technical expertise will help ensure hydraulic equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably across a wide range of industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic tools and testing equipment, including ohmmeters.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and related components with precision and accuracy.
• Perform functional and pressure testing on repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and reliability before returning units to service.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of repairs, testing results, and parts usage to support quality control and traceability.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines when working with hydraulic systems, pressurized equipment, and electrical testing devices.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and team members to troubleshoot complex repair issues and improve repair processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while ensuring tools and supplies are readily available.

Must Haves:
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience using diagnostic and electrical testing equipment, including ohmmeters.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and produce high-quality work.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in hydraulic repair, industrial maintenance, or a repair bench environment preferred.
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical safety standards required.
