Join our Board: Help Support the Arts for Underserved Children

As we move into 2026, it’s important that we diversify our board. We need leaders who reflect the communities we serve, bring a wider range of skills, and support the mission from different perspectives. Expanding our board with individuals from diverse backgrounds, ages, professions, and cultures will strengthen our organization’s vision, decision-making, and long-term impact.

Every child deserves the chance to dream big to create, to perform, to be seen, and to be celebrated.

It takes a community of caring hearts, willing hands, and creative minds to build opportunities for our youth.

At Creative Emajinations , we believe in the power of collaboration. We connect skilled volunteers with underserved children and young adults, helping them discover their gifts and realize their fullest potential through the arts.

We are now inviting passionate, committed individuals to join our Board of Directors for a one-to-two-year term beginning January 2026.

Our Mission

Creative Emajinations believes that encouragement, recognition, and opportunity can transform a young person’s life.

We partner with local businesses, schools, and nonprofits to provide arts education, mentoring, and performance opportunities for children who might otherwise be overlooked.

Together, we’re showing youth that their voices matter and that creativity can be their pathway to confidence and success.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for perfection. We’re looking for people with heart bold, compassionate, and ready to help us grow. Whether you’re an artist, educator, business leader, or simply someone who believes in the power of the arts, your time and commitment can change lives. We’re calling on those who are truly ready to stand beside us and see this vision through together.

Compensation

This is a volunteer role.

Our Expectation

We ask that each board member:

• Makes a personal contribution (annual or monthly, amount TBD)
• Helps build community awareness and connections
• Keeps our mission at heart in every effort

Board Details

• Term: 1–2 years, with renewal option
• Meetings: Quarterly (virtual or in-person)
• Participation: Active involvement in meetings, fundraising, and advocacy
• Location: Members can serve from anywhere Missouri residency not required
• Most board members dedicate a few hours per month to meetings, events, or special projects flexible to fit your schedule.

Creative Emajinations is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of MO and exempt under the United States Internal Revenue Service. Board members are not required to be located in the Missouri area.
