JOB SUMMARY Seeking experienced Cath Lab Technicians to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role is responsible for assisting physicians during a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency. Key Responsibilities Assist cardiologists and other medical staff during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during and after procedures. Operate and troubleshoot diagnostic and interventional equipment. Maintain accurate patient documentation. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Schedule / Shift 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week. Standard shift: 07:30 - 18:00. Occasional early shifts: 06:30 - 17:00, or until structural heart procedures are completed. One designated late shift per week, completing the last patient of the day. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab. Proficiency in Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization (Adult). Experience with Interventional Cardiac Catheterization. Skilled in Cardiac Stent Placement. Familiarity with IABP Placement/Removal. Experience with Impella insertion. Competency in Left Heart Catheterization and Right Heart Catheterization. Experience with Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI). Ability to perform Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring. Experience with Rotablator atherectomy. Skilled in Scrub Procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. Knowledge of Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, and IV vasopressors. Competency in Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring. Familiarity with Reversal agents and Thrombolytics. Proficiency with IV infusion pumps. Skilled in Starting and maintaining IVs. Experience with Activated Clotting Time (ACT) monitoring. Ability to perform Cardioversion. Proficiency in Circulate Procedures. Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring. Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Isolation Precautions/PPE. Skilled in Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias. Experience in Monitoring Procedural Sedation. Proficiency in Sheath Removal/Monitoring. Familiarity with Topical Hemostasis agents (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch). Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Pre and Post Procedure patient care. Experience with Special Procedures. Familiarity with ASD Closures. Experience with Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). Competency in Valvuloplasty. Experience with Watchman procedures. Experience with Angiography and Angioplasty. Experience with Carotid Stenting. Experience with Central Venous Access procedures, including Non-tunneled Lines, PICC lines, and Port Placements. Experience with Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision and Dialysis Graft Interventional procedures. Experience with Endovascular Interventions. Skilled in Scrub Procedures (Vascular). Experience with Stent Graft Placement. Familiarity with SVC/IVC Venography. Experience with Thoracic Aortography. Experience with Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography. Familiarity with External Compression Devices (C-Clamp, Sandbags). Knowledge of Hypothermia protocol. Experience with Laser-assisted procedures. Knowledge of Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol. Ability to Obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG. Knowledge of Radiation and Laser Safety. Experience with Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose). Experience A minimum of 2 years of direct experience is required.
