Laboratory Supervisor

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Manhattan, Kansas branch, supervising staff, ensuring accurate test performance, and maintaining compliance with laboratory regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily branch operations and ensure timely, accurate test result reporting
• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel; provide coaching and developmental feedback
• Monitor workflow, schedule assay coverage, and maintain adequate staffing across shifts
• Investigate production errors, implement process improvements, and maintain Quality Assurance records
• Ensure equipment maintenance, regulatory compliance, and administrative duties including payroll management

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• 5+ years experience as Laboratory Technologist or Technician
• 2+ years experience in high complexity testing
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state regulations
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass color blindness test
