AMN Healthcare Revenue Cycle is seeking a travel Utilization Review for a travel job in Bronx, New York.Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Utilization Review * Discipline: Therapy * Duration: 13 weeks * 40 hours per week * Shift: 8 hours * Employment Type: TravelJob Description & Requirements RN Case Manager StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1800.00 - $2700.00 POSITION SUMMARY -Case Manager - -Typically placed on Med-Surg or Tele Floors following Internal Med and Family Med. POSITION DUTIES - Role: Expected to have knowledge of discharge planning and making referrals. Will typically be working on a MS or Tele unit and will split the floor with a Social Worker. Must be able to function independently on the unit and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and patients for discharge planning. Expected to round on the unit with physicians/team. Need to have a positive attitude, be able to critically think, and good time management skills. Utilization Review (UR) is a separate dept- UR will do insurance approvals and arranging transportation MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Min 1 year experience; -BLS Certification, PRI (Patient Review Instrument) Certification, SCREEN Training Certification -PRI & SCREEN certifications (can be taken online through the School of Albany- typically take a couple hours for each certification; Cost approx. $300/certification) - /> LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT -13 Weeks SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK -37.5 hours per week SYSTEMS -Allscripts START DATE -ASAPSizzle - - * Live and work in New York City * Minutes from Yankee Stadium * Incredible food and cultural diversity * Bronx Zoo & Botanical Garden nearby * Easy access to Manhattan and all NYC attractions * Valuable big-city hospital experience * Endless entertainment on your days off Facility LocationThe northernmost of New York City's five boroughs, The Bronx is one of the city's most storied communities.
