Clinical Psychologist

About the Job Carter Psychology Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team of experienced mental health professionals. In this role, you will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and interpersonal concerns. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term mental wellness. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy as appropriate. Diagnose and treat mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, behavioral concerns, adjustment disorders, and other mental health conditions. Administer, score, and interpret psychological assessment instruments. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation. Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, educators, and community resources to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and coping strategies. Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical consultations. Stay current with advances in psychological research, ethics, and best clinical practices. Requirements Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist. Experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment across diverse populations. Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic interventions. Excellent diagnostic, clinical interviewing, and report-writing skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
