Instructional Designer

Armison Tech – Instructional Designer Location: Chantilly, VA (on‑site client environment) Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph Compensation: Competitive with excellent benefits Only applicants with active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship will be reviewed. In this role you will be part of a larger team of project managers and technical SMEs, collaborating to plan, lead and develop training for mission‑critical topics for our customer. Basic Qualifications Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance Demonstrated experience developing and refining curriculum and training courses for adult learners on non‑technical subjects A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (additional experience may substitute for a degree) Experience creating courses that engage, motivate, and are learner‑centered, regardless of modality (face‑to‑face, online, or blended) or technical platform Experience utilizing ADDIE or SAM or other similar instructional design models Demonstrated experience selecting and developing instructional strategies that create conditions for learners to achieve their objectives and the customer’s objectives at large Experience teaching subject matters pertinent to the customer’s domains DESIRED: ATD Instructional Design Certificate DESIRED: Certified Instructional Designer/Developer (CIDD) or an Articulate Storyline Certification DESIRED: Certified Professional in Learning Development (CPLP) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) The duties and responsibilities listed in this description generally cover the nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
