Because You Deserve More Than Just a Job Team Player Requirements Current Poly clearance At least 12 years of software engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or four years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes Back‑end development experience building big‑data applications using Python and/or Java Experience with tiered architectural systems emphasizing front‑end development Comfortable working in Linux/Ubuntu environments Experience in AWS, especially around big‑data architecture Front‑end development experience with JavaScript libraries such as Vue.js or PrimeVue (or equivalent) Day‑to‑Day Activities Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithms, large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems, based on documented requirements Review and test software components for design adherence and document test results Resolve software problem reports Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies Provide input on system design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis from system level to component level Pay Range 179,000 – 225,000 Benefits Competitive compensation, healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and paid time off.
