Immediate Hiring: Maintenance Technician – Night Shift (Food Processing Facility)We are urgently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced food processing facility. This role is critical to ensuring production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with OSHA and food safety standards.You will begin with day shift training and later transition to a night shift schedule, supporting ongoing operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installation.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment to reduce downtime and maintain efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for accurate repairs and modifications.Safely work with high-voltage systems (up to 480V, 3-phase).Maintain and repair equipment including motors, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery.Ensure compliance with OSHA and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs impacting production and safety.Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation of repairs and parts used.Support facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing, welding, painting, and general repairs.Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols during maintenance work.Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.Required Skills & Experience3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food processing or manufacturing.Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting up to 480V (3-phase systems).Knowledge of AC/DC systems, PLCs, transformers, motor controls, and Allen-Bradley components.Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Ability to read and work with technical diagrams and schematics.Experience repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and control systems.Basic welding and plumbing skills.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work night shifts and overtime after initial training.Preferred QualificationsExperience in food processing environments.Familiarity with HVAC systems and facility maintenance programs.Experience with packaging lines, conveyors, and automated systems.Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-demand environment.Why Join Us?Immediate opportunity with a growing and stable organization.Access to consistent overtime to maximize earnings.Work with modern production and packaging equipment.Supportive culture focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Real opportunities for career growth and advancement.Work Environment & ScheduleLocated in a high-volume food production facility.Initial day shift training, followed by transition to nights.Typical schedules include: 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM (Sun–Thu) and 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Mon–Fri).Regular 10–15 hours of overtime per week.Exposure to industrial equipment, boilers, HVAC systems, and high-voltage machinery.Strict adherence to safety and food handling standards, including PPE use.If you're a hands-on technician ready for an immediate opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply today!This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, WA.The pay range for this position is $26.35 - $30.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
