Commercial Litigation Mid-Level Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Business Litigation Practice Group in either New York City or Hackensack, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters in New York state and federal courts. Duties Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, discovery strategy, and motion practice. Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas. Manage significant responsibility while working independently and collaboratively. Engage with a diverse client base, including businesses and nonprofit organizations. Requirements Admission to the New York Bar is required. New Jersey Bar admission and experience is preferred. Judicial clerkship experience is desired. Strong academic credentials. Excellent analytical, research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
