Lab Clerk / Care Coordinator - Must have Phlebotomist License

Job Description Oso Home Care is looking to hire a Lab Clerk / Care Coordinator. We are located where the 405 and 55 freeways meet. Must have a phlebotomist license. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred. Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is preferred. Active Phlebotomist license required. Responsibilities Process and track all lab orders for patients. Coordinate the scheduling and collection of lab specimens in compliance with physicians' orders. Verify lab requisitions and ensure all information is complete and accurate. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including lab results and correspondence. Update patient care plans with lab results and physician’s recommendations. Ensure all lab documentation is organized and easily accessible for nursing and pharmacy staff. Address any discrepancies or issues related to lab orders and results. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Assist with Nursing Department clerical activities.
