Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New Mexico occupational therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Ability to effectively serve students from elementary through high school
• Strong collaboration skills to work among multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Adaptability to diverse classroom environments and student needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine functional abilities and support needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support students educational goals
• Maintain accurate records of progress and required documentation
• Provide guidance and training to staff to carry over therapeutic strategies in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to student plans
