Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR### **THIS IS A NEURO UNIT** REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Minimum Experience REQUIRED Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety Certs: ACLS and BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIH, Neuro exp preferred, Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred JOB DETAILS: **THIS IS A NEURO UNIT** Ratios: 1:6 Shift: Nights 18:45-7:15 *36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. 13-26 weeks accepted ***RTO: 7 DAYS MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER*** Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend) **Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, and the contract staff may be pre-assigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General medicine, focus on neuro UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Manager Schedules UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 Hours SCRUBS: Not Provided.
