Pharmacy Technician in Brooklyn, NY

An established home infusion and compounding pharmacy is expanding its team to include an experienced Pharmacy Technician. This role demands specialized expertise in home infusion or compounding pharmacy environments, with a focus on precision, communication, and patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile medications following strict protocols.
• Utilize a proprietary workflow system for daily operational tasks.
• Engage in consistent communication with patients and healthcare providers to ensure medication accuracy and adherence.
• Support pharmacy operations seven days a week with a flexible schedule that includes weekday starts at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., or 10 a.m., and rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings; inpatient-only experience will not be considered.
• Strong communication skills, especially in patient and provider interactions.
• Active CA Pharmacy Technician license; National Certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a proprietary workflow system and flexible scheduling.

Location:

• Brooklyn, NY.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday with flexible start times (8 a.m., 9 a.m., or 10 a.m.).
• Rotating weekends.
• Operating hours from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
