Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services for inpatient and outpatient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients, in a surgery center setting.
- Review medication orders, verify dosages, counsel patients when appropriate, and ensure accurate dispensing and documentation in alignment with facility policies.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team, participate in rounds as needed, and support direct clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient departments.
- Promote medication safety, perform drug information duties, monitor for adverse events or drug interactions, and support formulary management and policy implementation.
- Adapt to rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) and weekend coverage, maintaining consistency with institutional standards and patient care quality.

Requirements
- Current valid and unrestricted pharmacist license in a U.S. state or territory (or D.C.)
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a registered pharmacist; minimum of one (1) year experience as a clinical pharmacist
- Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start
- Ability to work in an inpatient/surgery center setting with rotating day/evening/night shifts and weekends
