This opportunity is well suited for someone with professional customer service experience who is comfortable working with Excel and detailed information. Previous freight forwarding experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and interested in growing their knowledge of logistics and international transportation.

How You Create Impact

As an Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist, you will support the coordination of export shipments while serving as an important point of contact for customers and internal teams. Your day will include a combination of customer communication, shipment monitoring, data management, problem-solving, and operational support. This is a data-focused role, so strong attention to detail and comfort working in Excel are important. You will also collaborate closely with teammates and other Kuehne+Nagel departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and provide customers with accurate and proactive support.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and monitor air export shipments and provide proactive updates to customers
• Maintain and review customer and shipment data using Excel and internal systems
• Work with data integrations and EDI-related processes
• Serve as a liaison between customers, Kuehne+Nagel branches, and internal teams
• Identify shipment or process issues and collaborate with others to find effective solutions
• Use CareLOG to track and monitor shipments
• Support rate quotations, financial auditing, data entry, and month-end accounting activities
• Assist with customer claims involving damaged or lost cargo
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

What We Would Like You To Bring

We are looking for someone who brings strong customer service skills, confidence working with data, and a willingness to learn. Success in this role will require attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively across teams.

• Professional customer service experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including familiarity with functions such as VLOOKUP
• Experience working with data, reporting, data entry, or other detail-oriented information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A collaborative approach and willingness to work across teams
• Accountability, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow
• Experience with logistics, supply chain, EDI, data management, or freight forwarding is a plus
• College degree preferred, but not required

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.

The base salary for this position starts at $53,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
