Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, onsite in Monticello, MN. About the Role The Production Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating detailed production scheduling for secondary operations and supporting the accuracy of scheduling and reporting tools used across the Supply Chain department. This role maintains scheduling for saw, deburring, and outside service (OSV) operations, monitors rework and sort activity, and keeps key reports and dashboards current. The Production Scheduling Coordinator also provides cross-functional backup coverage across Planning, Purchasing, and Supply Chain administrative functions to support uninterrupted operations. What You'll Do The primary duties and responsibilities of the Production Scheduling Coordinator consist of but are not limited to: Secondary Operations & Resource Scheduling Maintain infinite resource scheduling for saw, deburring, and outside service (OSV) operations. Run and maintain the Finishing and Inspection Jobs Planning spreadsheets as needed. Monitor rework (RW) and sort operations to ensure timely completion and accurate status tracking. Reporting and Dashboard Support Review and maintain assigned production dashboards to ensure data accuracy and timely updates. Understand pack load for the shipping team and coordinate prepacking activities. Support the Manager of Supply Chain with pull-in checkbox updates and PDR comment coordination between the Manager, Sales, and Production teams. Cross-Functional Support Serve as backup for job analysis, cleanup, and job closing activities. Learn and provide coverage for the Global cleanup process. Provide support for priority code updates and reviews. Provide backup purchasing support for Buyer responsibilities as needed, including order tracking. Cross-train on forecast review processes to build backup coverage for the Supply Chain Specialist role. Requirements Education and Experience Associate’s degree in business, supply chain management, operations management, or related field, or work experience in place of education. 1+ years’ experience in production scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or a related supply chain role. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Proficiency in the use and understanding of ERP, MRP (Epicor or similar system) preferred. Skills and Competencies Ability to express ideas, share information, listen actively, and demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communications. Ensure all internal and external customers receive positive service experiences. Strong problem-solving and technical skills related to materials and process technologies. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing multiple schedules and reports simultaneously. Able to use metrics and dashboards to support organizational objectives and goals. Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.) Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work with a sense of urgency. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to learn multiple functional areas and provide reliable backup coverage.
