Part Time General Dentist Position
Position in Mammoth Lakes, California, offering flexible work-life balance within a well-established practice. The role involves delivering comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with emphasis on high-quality service and patient-centered care. Candidates should hold a DDS or DMD, an active California license, and at least two years of clinical experience, with pediatric experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions, diseases, and injuries
- Provide restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental procedures
- Deliver patient education regarding oral hygiene and preventative care
- Administer fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions
- Treat pediatric and adult patients with professionalism and compassion
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and patient care techniques
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active California Dental License in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus
- Compliance with all state and federal dental regulations
Preferred Skills:
- Pediatric dentistry experience
- DEA License
