- Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm -- 9-hour shifts
- 36 hours of patient care and ambulatory clinic coverage per week
- 15 - 18 patients per shift
- Outpatient focus -- 70% oncology, 30% hematology (primarily benign)
- Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients
- Call rotation every 4th or 5th week -- one full week at a time
- 100% consultant role -- no direct admissions
- Ongoing coverage opportunity
