Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role involves working within an acute care setting, providing essential care to post-partum patients and mother/baby couplets. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide care for post-partum patients, mother/baby couplets, and occasionally gyne patients
• Float to L&D for recoveries, NIC for intermediate care infants, and general pediatrics when needed
• Administer and titrate medications such as insulin and heparin
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OB/Neonatologists and respiratory therapists
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications
• Experience in post-partum patient care and titrating medications
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
