Join a company of significance!Job Overview: GaN is seeking a Senior System Administrator in support of an Army customer in Huntsville, AL. This position requires experience with a wide variety of enterprise technologies with an emphasis on delivering and supporting Windows, Linux and cloud-based infrastructures. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of designing systems that meet complex requirements as well as planning, testing, and delivering solutions.Responsibilities:Create solutions that align IT systems with the needs of the organizationDesign virtual systems to include both servers and desktopsDesign the deployment and maintenance of highly available virtual desktop solutionsSupport implementation of the Software Defined Data Center using VMware technologiesSupport the deployment of systems and services within a commercial cloud service such as Azure or AWSDesign and support system engineering solutionsDesign, deploy and support DevSecOps environmentsMust be able to deploy and maintain solutions within DoD compliance parametersDevelop documentation artifacts and plansSet standards for resource and capacity management of all enterprise systemsProvide performance tuning strategies and their implementationParticipate in the design and implementation of disaster recovery solutionsWork with managers to insure projects are completed successfully and on timeQualifications Requirements (minimum):Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (or related field) and 10+ years of experience.Active CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent or greater.An acceptable Computing Environment certification.VMware ESXi, View, SRM and vCloudExperience with a wide variety of Windows and Unix operating systemsExperience supporting Cameo and MagicDraw deploymentsNetworking conceptsGeneral Storage Area Network knowledgeGood documentation and communication skillsMust be self-motivated and willing to take ownership of issuesSpecial Requirements:Must be a US Citizen.Must have Active Secret ClearanceGaN Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
