If you're looking for a supportive, team-oriented culture where you can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact, Red River Animal Emergency Clinic is a place you'll be proud to call home. WHAT ARE THE HOURS?This is a full-time role requiring flexibility, with a typical shift of 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts based on hospital needs. WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?As our Veterinary Pharmacy Technician, you'll accurately review and process prescriptions and prepare medications for critical patient care. You'll work closely with veterinarians and technicians to ensure every dosage and label meets high standards. Managing the Cubex dispensing system, you'll monitor inventory and collaborate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels. By handling prescription requests through EzyVet and supporting compliance standards, you'll ensure medication safety and efficiency throughout the hospital. IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?Current LVT or licensed pharmacy techKnowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, sterile compounding principles, and dosage calculationsExperience with medication preparation and handlingWorking knowledge of pharmacy inventory systems and automated medication dispensing systems (Cubex experience preferred)Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computer systems and electronic medical recordsAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a team environmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to work around veterinary patients Preferred candidates have experience in pharmacy, veterinary, emergency, specialty, or healthcare settings, along with familiarity with EzyVet, Cubex, sterile compounding, medication preparation, and inventory systems. Step into a role where your work truly matters and your growth is supported.
