Relationship Manager

Serves as the primary point of contact to existing clients. Develops and maintains strong relationships. Proactively evaluates client needs and financial goals. Responsibilities Consults with clients to evaluate needs, researches resolutions for client issues, and supports strategies for process improvement. Identifies and resolves client inquiries related to products or services, building internal relationships to collaboratively resolve issues. Facilitates the creation of solutions across internal teams to address client inquiries and improve the client’s overall experience with Vanguard’s services. Uses technical knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services to proactively identify opportunities to strengthen the client relationship. Participates in team projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of five years of related work experience; five years in Client Services, Relationship Management, and/or Vanguard Workplace Solutions preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g., FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role‑specific duties. Experience with the Vanguard recordkeeping offer and process is required. Client travel is required and expected for this role. FINRA 6 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). If you are offered and accept this position, and you do not have the necessary FINRA licenses for the role, then you must obtain the required licenses within the specified period of time.
