Engineering Technician II

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Materials Engineering Technician with a concrete focus for a large engineering consulting firm in Harrisburg, PA. This role involves performing field observation, inspection, and testing of concrete construction activities, including mortar, grout, reinforcing, and installation practices to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes. The technician will travel from the office to one or more job sites using a company vehicle, communicate findings with the Project Manager and client, collect and transport material samples, and complete daily digital field reports. Strong communication skills, attention to safety, proper equipment maintenance, and a valid driver’s license with minimal infractions are required.
