Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or operational spaces while assisting with access control procedures and verifying credentials as directed by site policy. Support day-to-day site operations by communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders when needed and completing required logs, reports, and other post duties. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be 21+ years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
