Role Overview Responsibilities Promote patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Work in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe practice. Qualifications And Skills Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Licensure: Current RN license required. Experience: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred, especially in critical care, emergency, or cardiac cath settings. Additional requirements: Ability to work within 30 minutes of the hospital for call duties; ADN/BSN/MSN candidates accepted.
