Event Delivery Assistant

Position Summary The Delivery Assistant supports the delivery, setup, and pickup of rental equipment while providing excellent customer service. This role works closely with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure orders are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, secure, and prepare rental equipment for transport. Assist with deliveries, pickups, route navigation, and customer communication. Verify order accuracy and answer basic equipment questions. Communicate professionally with customers, venue staff, and team members. Help maintain accurate delivery/pickup records and documentation. Provide spotter assistance when maneuvering delivery vehicles. Demonstrate equipment operation and safety procedures when needed. Assist with customer inquiries and issue resolution. Assist with equipment returns, inspections, and inventory verification. Support warehouse operations and special projects as needed. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with navigation tools and local roadways. Reliable transportation, attendance and professional demeanor. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Valid government‑issued photo ID. Commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move heavy equipment throughout the workday. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and climb as required. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $15‑17.00 (based on experience). Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. 401(k) with Company Match. Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.
