Kitchen PrepThe Kitchen Prep is to produce the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures. To include daily prep, preparing ingredients, keeping kitchen clean and orderly.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, carry, deliver items weighing up to 20-40 pounds throughout an eight-hour shiftAbility to safely utilize knives and equipment.Ability to stand and walk continually throughout an eight-hour shiftAbility to bend, stoop and reach for products and itemsAbility to work to various temperature environment, for example low temperature in the refrigerator and high temperature in the cooking areaAbility to work in loud areas, for example, the music for special performance and/or loud noise from the dishwasher machineAbility to attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hoursEducation & Qualifications:California Food Handler CertificateCooking and Prep experience or Back of the House experience preferredFluent in English / Preferred languages: Mandarin and SpanishResponsibilities:Set up and stock stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely mannerPlates food in an attractive manner to maximize customer enjoymentOperate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficientlyClean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitationQuickly complete opening and closing duties each shift – setting up and tearing down the line to ensure you, your peers and your location are set for success.Follow all policies and processes communicated by your Manager or the Company.Strictly adhere to all Company and government health and safety standards with a focus on Human Safety; Food Safety and Chemical Safety and Sanitation StandardsPerforms other related duties as assigned.Benefits:Provides employees discounts to dine at all 1400+ Haidilao Hot Pot locations globallyProvides on-site staff mealProvides medical insurance to qualified full-time employeesProvides Birthday gift and celebrationRequirements:Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of restaurant prep and cooking methodsObtain the California Food Handler CertificateHaidilao Hot Pot - San Diego 4545 La Jolla Village Dr F9, San Diego, CA 92122, USA
