As a Junior Paralegal, you'll work to:Support lawyers with first-round markups of investment-related NDAs and commercial contractsManage document lifecycles, track deadlines, communicate with counterparties, and assist with executionWork closely with lawyers and senior paralegals, contributing to high-quality client delivery across fast-moving, high-volume mattersBuild commercial and legal expertise over time, with opportunities to take ownership of client accounts and progress towards qualification via the SQE routeAbout YouWe are looking for someone who:0-1+ years of experience (internship experience) with a bachelor's degree in law or equivalent is preferred; prior exposure to NDAs or KYC processes is a plus but not requiredEager to learn and grow. You are motivated, curious, and excited to develop expertise in legal practice – whether that is compliance, contracts, or fundsOrganized and efficient. You prioritize well, manage competing deadlines, and keep matters moving without losing attention to detailA strong communicator. You collaborate effectively with lawyers, senior paralegals, and client-facing teams across a fast-paced environmentSalaryCarta's compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans.
