We are looking for an engaged and motivated person as Lead Solutions Manager ORAN (m/w/d) for our Networks Solutions business area, based in Düsseldorf.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leadership in defining and positioning end-to-end ORAN solutions and technical responsibility for Tier-1 and Tier-2 network operators in Europe
• Responsibility for complex technical solution engagements and management of virtual teams from Samsung development, regional experts, and strategic partners
• Development and enhancement of competitive ORAN solutions based on customer requirements, market trends, and partner ecosystems
• Management of the entire technical sales lifecycle – from initial contact through RFPs to long-term solution positioning and expansion
• Building trustful relationships with senior technical stakeholders and decision-makers on the customer side
• Translation of complex customer requirements into scalable and impactful technical solutions
• Identification, evaluation, and acquisition of strategic partners for a top-class ORAN offering
• Definition of the technical sales strategy and management of internal and external stakeholders towards a unified solution
• Supporting the successful positioning of Samsung as a leading solution provider in large multi-vendor environments

Skills and Qualifications

• Very good understanding of the telecommunications market, regulatory frameworks, and new technology trends
• In-depth expertise in the ORAN environment, including Samsung Networks portfolio and multi-vendor architectures
• Proven experience in consultative technical sales within the telecommunications industry, ideally with Tier-1 providers
• Ability to conduct complex technical discussions and convince senior stakeholders and decision-makers
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and coordinating between product strategy and engineering
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics in a target-group-appropriate manner – also at the executive level
• Secure making of technical decisions in demanding customer-oriented environments
• Education in engineering, computer science, telecommunications, or comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in the telecommunications industry (typically 15+ years) in technical, solution, or architecture roles
• Experience in leading virtual teams in solution design and technical sales
• In-depth knowledge of mobile communication networks, especially radio access networks
• Fluent German and English skills in speech and writing
