Job Title TRAVEL - RN - MED SURG - COST CENTER (613) - 7:00PM - 7:00AM #26-12370 Job Details RN-Registered Nurse // Med Surg Onsite Contract Starts 5/18/2026 13 weeks Night Shift: 12 hours/day, 3 days/week Unit Information Unit: 9 Tower Surgical Location: Centennial Medical Center Address: 2300 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203 Building: Main Tower Number of Beds: 36 Number of Staff: 40 RNs (8 bedside RN per shift) Shift Groups: Day Shift – 8 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 1 Unit Secretary, 1 Manager, 1 CNC; Night Shift – 8 RNs Patient Ratio: 1:5 Equipment: Bariatric fitted ADLs, Wound Vacs, Drains, Lifts EMR: Meditech Typical Hiring Profile Must have: Time Management and Efficiency, Teamwork Preferred: Background in post‑op surgical areas such as vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, colorectal, and general surgery Procedures Performed Maintenance of post‑op surgical procedure sites Wound care (packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance) Foley catheter care – continuous bladder irrigation Ostomy appliance changes and maintenance Nasogastric tube insertion and suction TPN Blood Administration Central line care and dressing changes Bedside shift report Personality Fit Outgoing, customer service oriented Required Certifications BLS Floating Areas Medical‑Surgical Units Dress Code Scrub Color/Attire – Black, Grey, White, Royal Blue Unit Guidelines / Policies Prompt Attendance (clocking in and out on time, attending scheduled shifts) Open Communication Professional Appearance Attentive/Responsive to patient needs Benefits Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.
