Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Lead LVT to join our dedicated team in a collaborative and balanced work environment. Responsibilities As a key member of our medical team, you'll be fully utilized in your role as a technician. Your responsibilities will include: Surgical support - preparing patients, monitoring anesthesia, and assisting during procedures. Dentistry - performing dental cleanings, charting, radiographs, and assisting with oral care. Client education - communicating with pet owners about preventive care, home care, and treatment plans. Patient care - ensuring every pet receives exceptional, compassionate attention before, during, and after their visit. Training – Lead ongoing training for team members, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and best practices. Mentorship – Provide confident, visible leadership to support efficient daily hospital flow and timely patient care. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday‑Friday. No weekends! Full‑time benefits and compensation Compensation: $34‑37 per hour, for each hour worked. Bonus package: $2000. CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure. Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Life insurance and disability. Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting. Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Washington. Proficiency in the following skills: Training and mentorship. Surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring. Advanced client education. Dental prophy. Inventory management.
