Tax Accountant Los Angeles County, CA Direct Hire Tax $80K to $90K 05/29/2026 Job responsibilities Prepare quarterly and annual tax calculations and support financial reporting related to income taxes. Assist with preparation of federal and state tax filings for corporate and partnership entities. Calculate estimated tax payments and support extension filings as needed. Prepare and review non income tax filings, including sales, use, and property related returns. Research tax issues, respond to notices, and assist with audit support activities. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in tax or accounting roles. Working knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements. Proficiency with office software and familiarity with tax preparation systems. Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Qualifications Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate tax filings. Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external agencies. Analytical mindset with the ability to research and resolve tax related issues. Organized and reliable work style with strong time management skills.
