Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00). Variable scheduling, with no required weekends or call.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services in an outpatient, acute care, and long-term care/swing bed settings. The clinician will float within their scope to meet facility needs, assisting across different areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve patients' activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy.
• Valid state license in Alaska.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
