Risser Eye Clinic is seeking a dependable, patient focused Ophthalmic Assistant or motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing ophthalmology practice. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physician examinations

• Obtain medical histories and document chief complaints

• Perform ophthalmic pretesting and diagnostic testing as trained

• Accurately document patient information using the electronic medical record system

• Assist with patient flow and physician support throughout the day

• Provide outstanding patient care and customer service

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment

Qualifications

• Ophthalmic or optometry experience preferred

• Medical Assistant experience will be considered

• Experience using electronic medical record systems required

• Excellent computer skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Positive attitude and professional demeanor

• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn
