Job Summary:
Pahrump Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Hospitality Aide / Smoking Attendant . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the healthcare field, with a pathway to CNA training. In this role, you will support residents with non-clinical needs while also monitoring and assisting with designated smoking areas to ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies.
Essential Functions:
Answers call lights and responds to resident needs
Distributes linens and makes beds
Serves and collects meal trays; assists with tray monitoring
Transports residents via wheelchair or cart
Passes fluids and nourishments to residents who do not require assistance
Cleans utility rooms, storage areas, and resident rooms, closets, and drawers
Stocks supplies and empties soiled linen and incontinence containers
Cleans, disinfects, and stores bedpans, commodes, and urinals
Supervises designated smoking areas and ensures resident safety and adherence to facility policies
Reports any safety concerns or incidents to nursing staff
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older (required for smoking attendant responsibilities)
Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare preferred
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
