A leading global law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level attorney to work on sophisticated domestic and international real estate transactions across a broad range of asset classes.

✨ What You Will Work On

\n
• Represent developers, owners, investors, lenders and financial institutions in real estate transactions.
\n
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures, leases, development agreements and financing documents.
\n
• Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development and real estate financing.
\n
• Conduct due diligence, including lease, title and survey review.
\n
• Support M&A, private equity, fund formation and debt finance matters involving real estate.
\n
• Work across commercial, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, data center and other asset classes.
\n

✅ They are looking for:

• JD from an accredited law school.
\n
• 4-6 years of general real estate experience in a large law firm setting.
\n
• Experience representing borrowers and lenders in financing transactions.
\n
• Strong due diligence experience, including lease, title and survey review.
\n
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
\n
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple matters under tight deadlines.
\n
• Illinois bar admission required for the Chicago position.
\n
• Client-focused, proactive and collaborative approach.
\n
