A commercial construction service company in Olathe, KS is hiring a Customer Support Specialist to join its growing service team. In this entry-level role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers by phone — gathering details, creating service tickets, and helping dispatch connect the right technician to the job. It's a fast-paced, people-focused role with room to build real skills and grow.

Shift Options : Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, 1:00 pm–10:00 pm; or Friday–Monday, 11:00 am–10:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities – Customer Support Specialist

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers calling in for service, support, or sales, guiding them to the right solution with patience and professionalism.
• Gather accurate details to create service tickets so dispatchers can assign the right technician.
• Provide clear information on products, services, and pricing when needed.
• Maintain detailed, organized notes in the ticketing system to support scheduling and follow-up.
• Support the service team with additional administrative and customer-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications – Customer Support Specialist

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• 1+ year of customer service or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, organized environment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other everyday business software.

Preferred Qualifications – Customer Service Specialist

• Prior experience in construction, home services, or field service industries.
• Experience with ticketing or CRM software systems.

Physical Requirements – Customer Support Specialist

• Primarily sedentary, office-based role; extended periods sitting at a desk using a computer and phone.
• Occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs) of office materials.
• On-site position in Olathe, KS; not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
• No travel required.
