Site Supervisor | Cardiothoracic | Day | Full-Time

Overview Under the direction of the Director, the Medical Group Site Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of assigned medial practice clinics. Responsibilities Oversees / coordinates daily operation of assigned practices Works / collaborates with physicians(s) to assure that operations are efficient Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members Attends staff meetings, completes required competencies and mandatory education as assigned. Conducts regular review of facilities for EOC surveys Ensure staff complies with all UF CFH Polices, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards; ensures that all licenses and permits are current, and updates as needed Ensures excellent patient/customer service as measured by departmental service scores. Conducts regular rounding on patients/ customers, and staff. Utilizes service recover as necessary. Serves a floater for clinic when needed to fill vacancies as needed and within scope of position Engages staff and creates a positive team environment in the clinic, is fair and consistent in policy application and corrective action Well versed in CMS incentive payment programs to ensure compliance for employed physician practices Provides staff education for all new employees and educates as needed for current employees Tracks and submits list of supplies needed for outpatient clinics maintaining financial responsibilities of budgets Completes other duties as requested/assigned Qualifications Education: Highschool Graduate or equivalent Licensure/Certification/Registration: Preferred certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, but not required Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English #J-18808-Ljbffr UF Health
