Position / Specialty: Medical Assistant Shift: 5x8s, 8a-430p. Monday - Friday Call Requirements: N/A Weekend Requirement: N/A RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion. Guaranteed Hours: 40 Years of experience REQ: 2+ Years of experience preferred + MA Associate's Degree or MA Diploma AND MA Certification + BLS OR 5 years of MA experience + MA Certification + BLS Certs REQ: BLS + Must have a MA certification from the below: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Health Career Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistant (ARMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Locals accepted: Yes - locals only. Must live within 75 miles of the facility. Pending License accepted: No Special Requirements: Adult and PEDS experience. Clinic Highlights Scrubs: Any solid color Charting: Cerner Parking Cost: Limited parking at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). CCH Badge needed for entry. (A shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Professional Building, Stroger and JTDC). Alternative options - Stroger Hospital Parking Garage or Metered Street Parking. Public Transit highly recommended.
