We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. Requirements:

1. Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretations, generators and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
2. Must be at least 18 years of age
3. Completion of elementary education, able to read, write, and follow oral and written instruction
4. Must pass background and drug screen
5. Excellent communication skills in dealing with residents, sponsors, visitors, and staff
6. Positive attitude towards the elderly

Essential Job Functions

1. Assist the Maintenance Director in all functions of the Maintenance Department and ensuring the building and equipment are maintained to include preventative maintenance.
