Job Summary Registered Nurse, NICU – Full Time. Shift: 6:30 P.M. – 7:00 A.M. Location: Boca Raton Regional Hospital (Boca Raton). Specialty: Specialized. Pay: $40.03–$50.14 per hour depending on experience. Description The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional able to demonstrate proficiency and mastery of core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. This role delivers patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent manner using and promoting evidence‑based practice standards of quality, safety, and service. Qualifications Associate's degree (or Bachelor's degree in Nursing) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Registered Nurse (RN) RNs hired prior to specific dates are not required to have BSN. RNs with Associate’s degree must complete BSN within 3 years. All RNs must complete a preceptor class within twelve months after being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice. Additional certifications may be required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card. Minimum Required Experience: 1 year acute NICU experience. BLS and NRP required.
