Job Title: Dispatcher Coordinator

Job Description

The dispatcher plays a key role in supporting a high-performing sales and service team that delivers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to customers across the food service and hospitality industries. Reporting to the Service Operations Supervisor/Manager, this position coordinates service assignments for approximately 300 field associates by organizing and delegating work through a dispatch queue. The role focuses on driving operational excellence and optimizing the field team’s ability to provide best-in-class service to customers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of service requests accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely response to customer needs.
• Assign and schedule service appointments, dispatching service technicians to customer locations based on priority and service requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly schedules to ensure proper staff coverage and alignment with changing customer demands.
• Optimize service technician availability and accountability by monitoring workloads, routes, and time utilization.
• Collaborate with Area Leadership to support Retain, Grow, and Gain initiatives and help achieve service and sales objectives.
• Continually partner with field associates to solve operational problems and remove obstacles that impact field effectiveness.
• Use CRM and other service dispatch tools to manage requests, update records, and track service activities.
• Perform accurate data entry, including Excel-based data entry, to maintain up-to-date service and scheduling information.
• Organize and participate in meetings related to dispatch operations, scheduling, and service performance.
• Provide excellent customer service and customer support, acting as a key point of contact for internal teams and external customers.
• Adapt to changing priorities and adjust dispatch plans as needed to meet customer expectations and service standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with technicians, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance dispatch processes and field operations.

Essential Skills

• Prior dispatching experience in a service or call center environment strongly preferred.
• Proven customer service and customer support experience in a high-volume setting.
• Experience coordinating schedules and managing high-volume workloads.
• Proficiency with Excel functions, including sorting, filtering, and basic spreadsheet functions.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry, including Excel-based data entry.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft applications used in service dispatch and customer support.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with field associates and leadership.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and meeting customer needs.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong conflict-resolution skills to handle scheduling conflicts and service issues.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote/work-from-home and operates within a flexible, independent work environment. The role is part of a team of approximately 30 dispatchers supporting about 300 field associates. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift, typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in a remote setting. Candidates must reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone, with a strong preference for those located in western U.S. markets. The role uses CRM systems, Microsoft applications, and Excel, along with other innovative tools and technology to support a world-class sales and service organization. The work environment emphasizes inclusion, engagement of diverse perspectives, and offers a 10-month contract-to-hire structure with opportunities for long-term advancement in service, sales, or management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
